Acceptable use policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) describes how to get the most from the platform operated by Rated Counsel Limited (t/a clmSpace) ("clmSpace", "we") and the standards that keep the Service safe and reliable for every customer. It supplements our Terms of service.

Permitted use

clmSpace is built for professional contract work, and you are welcome to use it to:

• Extract obligations, deviations, and citations from your contracts and turn them into structured intelligence your team can act on.
• Draft, author, negotiate, and review agreements with the platform's agents, then confirm the results before they are relied upon.
• Track renewals, deadlines, and lifecycle events across your agreement portfolio, and keep a clear audit trail of verifications and overrides.
• Process the contracts, documents, and related data for which you hold the rights and authority to use them with a processor under our Data processing agreement.
• Integrate the Service with your own SharePoint, Google Drive, and approved connector environments under the access we grant you.

clmSpace produces draft contract intelligence for professional review. AI-extracted obligations are relied upon after a human verifier confirms them, and low-confidence items are flagged so a qualified reviewer can give them attention. Keeping a qualified person in the loop for legal, contractual, and commercial decisions is the way the Service is designed to be used.

Prohibited conduct

To keep the Service trustworthy for everyone, please use it only to:

• Process content you are authorised to handle, and respect the intellectual-property and confidentiality rights of others.
• Submit material that is free of malware and that complies with applicable law.
• Rely on the underlying AI models as provided, and respect their safety controls and the boundaries of your licence.
• Generate content that is honest and lawful, and that is not designed to defraud, deceive, defame, or unlawfully coerce any person.
• Treat platform outputs as professional drafts and confirm them through qualified-counsel review before they drive a legal, contractual, or commercial decision, in keeping with applicable rules on the practice of law.
• Produce client-facing deliverables through the human verification steps the platform provides.
• Keep your access for the use we have licensed to you, and arrange any resale or sublicensing with us in writing first.

Security and responsible disclosure

We welcome reports from researchers who help us keep clmSpace secure. Please coordinate any security testing with us first and report findings through the responsible-disclosure process on our security page, which sets out how to reach us and what to expect in return.

Enforcement

We monitor for and investigate suspected breaches, and may suspend access while we look into a concern. Material or repeated breaches may result in termination in line with our Terms of service, and where the law requires it we will report breaches to the appropriate authorities. Wherever we can, we will work with you to resolve an issue and restore good standing.
